Classic Stories, Designed to Travel Everywhere

The Brief

RHINOSHIELD wanted to bring the nostalgic appeal of classic literature to contemporary technology accessories, creating expressive designs for consumers who value both personal style and device protection.

ARTiSTORY's Role

ARTiSTORY curated an artifact library of historic book covers and illustrations, selecting imagery with strong storytelling and product potential. We adapted compositions, crops, colors, and character elements across different device formats while supporting rights clearance and approvals through production.

The Collection

The collection launched globally in March 2024 with an initial 20 designs across smartphone, iPad, and AirPods cases and RHINOSHIELD’s GRIP series. Featured stories included Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland, Cinderella, Little Red Riding Hood, The Wonderful Wizard of Oz, and A Midsummer Night’s Dream.

The Outcome

The collaboration transformed literary artifacts into highly personal, functional accessories for a global audience. The range has since expanded to 38 designs with an extension of the agreement, demonstrating the long-term scalability of the British Library’s collections across devices and product formats.
