From Magic World to Science - Location-Based Experience

The Challenge
Cambridge University sought to expand its global educational reach and cultural impact by creating an immersive exhibition that would showcase the university's rich scientific heritage to international audiences. The challenge was to develop a location-based experience that would effectively communicate centuries of scientific advancement while engaging visitors in Shanghai's premier cultural institution.
The project required creating a sophisticated exhibition that would bridge cultural differences and present Cambridge's academic legacy in a format that resonates with diverse international visitors at one of China's most prestigious cultural landmarks.
Our Solution
We developed "LBE - From Magic World to Science," an innovative location-based experience hosted at Shanghai Library East Wing. This marks Cambridge University's first LBE project, creating an exceptional venue partnership that leverages Shanghai Library's status as one of the city's most modern and prestigious cultural landmarks.
The exhibition utilizes the library's expansive galleries, state-of-the-art facilities, and prime location in the cultural district to offer an exceptional setting for engaging international audiences with Cambridge's scientific heritage through immersive storytelling and dynamic displays.
