In July 2023, ARTiSTORY worked with popular shoe brand TOMS, who got inspiration from some of the artworks of Frida Kahlo, a trailblazing female artist of the 20th century.
TOMS, known for its One for One® model, continues to make an impact, not only by giving away a portion of its profits, but also by paying homage to Frida Kahlo — one of the most influential women in art. The footwear company handpicked three of the brand's most loved shoe styles and matched them up with her most loved paintings.

Frida Kahlo was best known for her self-portraits in varying mediums along with her use of color, which was highly exemplified in the brand's Frida Kahlo collection.
This art collaboration led to the unveiling of a unique collection that prominently features three of Kahlo's iconic paintings: "Still Life with Parrots," "Self-Portrait with Monkeys," and "The Frame".
Through ARTiSTORY's licensing platform, this creative collaboration brought Kahlo's artistic genius into contemporary fashion, allowing wearers to literally walk with her artistry. In the collection, TOMS Alp Leather Wrap style features"Still Life with Parrots," their Alp CloudBound™ Espadrille features "Self-Portrait with Monkeys," and the Valencia Rope Platform Slip On features "The Frame".
